National Geology Museum

National Geology Museum, Jalan Diponegoro 57.This national collection is the centerpiece for geological studies in Indonesia. It was opened in 1929 and house large collections of geological and prehistoric artifacts, including the original fossil remains of Java Man. The building was renovated in 2001 by grant from the laboratory and research center, a library, and a unit where one can buy topographic maps of Indonesia.
